确实这是我在JINGLE的第二个生日了,想去年上站时,我还是一个
初学者,还整天的在茶馆狂飙,曾为争取进入信榜而熬到深夜,为了
升级四处找新的文件传到站台,曾经因为拨不上站而连续一个小时
待在计算机旁敲空格键.... ,而现在一年过去了,经管已经没有一
年前的那种狂热了,但依然还是这样的爱着JINGLE,过去的朋友由于
种种原因有很多已经疏远或离开了JINGLE使我经常有种失落的感觉,
但是新朋友的加入又让我看到了希望,JINGLE给了我很多,我在JINGLE
认识的朋友也一样,也许他们得到的更多...

今天一大早人心情不好,想到赌场碰碰运气.消消气.可能是昨
尝到了甜头,加上心太贪的缘故吧.让人迷失方向,走火入魔.
刚开始火还挺不错,人的胆也大了,步子也迈快了. 可后来,越
输眼就越红,越红就越输... 后果实不堪设想,幸好赌场老板挺有
人情味,给我留了53元当盘缠, 要不然连家都回不成了,他还偷偷
对我说,让我下次再来.
哼!想得倒挺美!想放长线钓大鱼,我才不上当呢.唉!今儿可真
倒霉了,真了雪上加霜,伤上撒盐啊 !
钱没了是事小,就是觉得挺内疚的给俺零花钱的VC表哥和ZM表
弟一定在骂我:"哼!这小丫头不当家不知油盐柴米的贵,下次让她
当一个月的掌勺的,看她怎么当家???? 表哥表弟你们别生气,我
心里已经够难受的了,特此象你们保证,再也不去了骗人的鬼地方,
特此告诉那些曾经受骗的和即将受骗的朋友们,千万别抱着"我不

您好!
很高兴能加入到您们的BBS站，我是一位电脑爱好者，这是我第一
次加入的BBS站。网络我来说还是一个陌生的领域，正因为如此所以迟
迟才能给您写信。首先我先自我介绍一下，我家住武昌区紫阳路２８６
号（七０一研究所内），现在汉口一家贸易公司从事电脑工作，虽然我
所学的是财务会计专业，但我自从用电脑那天起就深深地爱上了这一神
奇的东西。说起电脑这一事物，在我一生中很早就出现过，那还是我上
小学的时候，当时我们所学的是BSICA语言，现在我还依稀记得，但只
能编一些简单的小程序。后来直到我读大专时才真正开始接触电脑，那
时所学的也无非是一些必备知识和五笔字型输入等。再后来走入社会，
首先为了谋生开始学习FOXBASE语言，这时我才真正感到无比的兴奋，
因为我发觉电脑似乎无所不能，一个个想法都能变为现实，但同时也使
我感到自己所学到的太肤浅了，好象永远无法全部明白。时代的步伐也
毫不停留，现在当时的FOXBASE也升级到了FOXPRO，程序设计也变得简
单多了，程序员完全可以从复杂的菜单、屏幕设计中解脱出来。网络时
代也已经来临，面对这瞬息万变的信息时代，我似乎也已经被时代遗忘。
所以我迫切的请求加入到您们的BBS站中来，体验一下信息时代所带来
的优越性，和广大的电脑爱好者一起相互交流，共同进步。
另外，我是一个初涉网络的新手，对于网络上的一些软件还不了解
，现在我用的的网络软件是买MODEM时附送的(SUPERVOC)，用于WINDOWS
95环境下的。但看了您们的BBS站的介绍后，DOS环境下进入BBS站会更好
些，所以我下载了蓝波快信中文版和通信软件TELIX，并按其介绍安装了
软件，但在进入TELIX时，系统检测MODEM后提示连线中并未给出OK信号
(使用协议是ZMODEM,ANSI)，电脑外接声卡的有源音箱没有拨号声，在
拨号时拿起旁过电话，电话中有信号。而在WINDOW95中使用的软件却是
在拨号中有拨号音，并显示OK，可以使用AT命令。不知哪里出了问题？
还有在准备下载一些软件时，按文件列表中看到的文件，但在下载时确
找不到文件，是否是我的级别没有达到而不能下载？新手必读我始终在
文件列表中找不到，只有BBS.TXT中介绍了一些。这些问题想请站长或有
幸看到这封信的电脑朋友有时间给予我一个答复。

我上站以来,"英语沙龙"一直不太热闹,直到最近,Radon Lee,
Peter Pan等的加入才有了起色,但是在这段时间一直反而不见
信管露面?
在其它信区写一封好信经常可以得到奖励,但上面两位的英文
信可谓精彩之至,反而没有任何收获,一直为YY所困?

I agree with ZM's idea very very much!
我认为QQ在英文方面完全能够担任信管一职,但更重要的是他能够和
众人热情地COMMUNICATE.还有本身对BBS的了解和熟悉,足以使他成为
该信区的信管.
BTW:希望同意我们(指我和ZM)的积极VOTE FOR QIAN QING.
英语区信管应该早日定夺.

这几天正闭关帮祁站翻译建站资料,不想英语沙龙发生这多事情,还跟俺有关,
俺只好出来说说了.
俺上站几个月来,可能是由于比较热情的原因吧,结识了一些热心站友.这不
前两天ZM还打电话来问一个E文翻译的问题,英翻汉可是俺强项,在电话里当场搞定.
俺当时只觉得感觉好极了,顺便给ZM胡砍了一翻应该如何学E文.这一下让ZM佩服
得五体投地了,以为俺E文是多么的扎实,这伙计一高兴竟给BULL CHEN发了一封
信,推荐俺当英语沙龙信管!这一下俺慌了,在英语沙龙里高手比比皆是,怎么也
轮不到俺啊.这时RL也看到这封信了,给俺打了个电话说是支持俺.俺苦笑着说
"别人可能对俺英文语底细不知,你老兄还不知道!谈计算机俺俩可能互有长短,
E文则你无论哪方面你不比我强几倍,你就不必拿俺开心了" 不想RL说他英文倒
是足以胜任信管,但上站不久,对BBS还不很了解,和其他站友也不象俺这熟.说
完竟也给ALL发了封信.这一下英语沙龙可乱套了.
平心而论,如果俺当了英语沙龙信管,对俺学英语倒是有很大促进,这个压力
可大了.俺觉得这个顺序搞错了,应该是先学好E文,再当信管,为大家服务,哪有
先把信管当机会练E文的,不然俺的弊脚写作万一让其它站站友看到了不是太
丢劲捷名声了.
已经有几位和俺要好的E友表示支持俺,俺很感谢他们,但这个位置应该留
给最合适,最能促进英语沙龙发展的人,俺实在是心有余力不足,让各位失望了.
几位E文很好的E友平时可能都和俺有过接触,你们可千万不要因为俺个人
原因而后退,如果这样就更让俺觉得不安了. :(
如果今后有电脑方面的空缺(俺这不是想夺权吧. :) ),俺会毛遂自荐的,
届时请大家给俺捧场,在祁站和BULL CHEN面前美言几句.
好了,俺还得给祁站翻译东东,祁站说了,如果不能按时完成,就要罚俺YY,
你们不要打扰俺闭关了.
BTW:俺本来准备用E文写这封信的,想了半天也写不清楚.突然灵机一动,
现在还没有信管,没人罚俺YY,用国语也不要紧.看来我E文确实功底不够. :)

I'm here just to say I'm agree with most of you in the vote. As known to
us all, QQ is a kind-minded man to this section. and above all is his
warm heart.
Who can be a inspiring leader?
Who has dedicated his spirit and time ,let alone his YY, to his beloved
BBS?
Who is the man with the sharp eyes to orientate, to find the dimmest
blink in the field, and boom it up??
That is the section master!
Look around of us, who is that man? No, don't wave your hand. sir!
Everybody turns back. There he is. QQ, please stand out, get on the stairs.
You are the man we've all been looking for?
A leader cannot always be a specialist in the area while the headmaster is
not the expert of teaching. e.g. Our dear JQ, the sysop, Is he the expert as
to be the BBS builder? If that is, maybe you couldn't sit here and talk
freely. He has just adopted to be a higher professor in the institue.
There goes the proof.
English skills can be improved in a proper enviroment. Writing is just one
one part of it. QQ, who had passed the CET-6 years ago, got the fertilized
soil to raise himself and us all, thus our BBS. The booming creature maybe the
most powerful one to face the barrier stone upward. kick it away.

But to my contrast, What I could hear,read and look, is
all about everyone championed that QQ is the only candidate
for his spirit,even his kind-mind are excellent enough to
afford the stand.
Now matter how people applaud alound QQ's great,glorify
his respectful character,but a suspect is around me frequently.
Is it real that's unique one being able to occupy the
position among hunderds of thousands of Jingle members ?
Why anyone,althrough whose level of using English is very
perfect,but disdain to actively devote himself to rival of
candidates.More incredibly,standing aside relaxedly,wave his
arms to other electioners whose ability're under him graceully
and congratulate their successful grasping the occupation.
What's a unnormal mind status !
What's a foolery action!
This make us misunderstand overall, what on earth, the
standard of election whether depond on a bit of guys' private
thought or determined by one's real power.If former,this area
will be lonely forever like others pointed, not most people
would come back again.
If so,we'll feel very disappointed and depressed for ourself,
for Jingle !

Surprised? Sometimes we will get really very surprised when
the course is against our own ideas. I've read the whole
letter you wrote below. Frankly, if you were not the master
of area of Internet, you would have the same chance of QQ
to be voted as the master of this area. But Why QQ now?
Have you ever thought the reasons we have listed?
Definitely not because his English is the best of the area,
Definitely not because he is quite an senior guy of Jingle,
Peter Pan has listed the his thought , and that's it.

It sounds a little strange even to me, because I have never
thought that QQ may become the most arguable person instead
of most popular one in Jingle's history.
These days, Jingle is full of arguments, and now they are
extended to this area. But it doesn't matter.They are welcome.
English, as the language of U.K. and U.S, and as the symbol
of the western world, must bring something of another style
of democratism, which is, ARGUMENT.And this is what we need
in BBS.

Though only dozens among hundreds or thousands of Jingle
members are active members to take part in the activity
of the station, more than one are able to occupy this
position.But the question is : Who is the most suitable?
It's Qian Qing, at least in my opinion.

Peter Pan has illustrate this idea very very clearly , that
it does not mean a person with relatively higher English
level is supposed to be entitled with the position of Master.
Let me illustrate it more.
Your idea is really the traditinal thought of a Chinese. That
is , we are supposed to elect a person with his skill , but not
with his comprehensive capability. In U.S., it is not the
president who deal with the concret matters, and what he is
supposed to do is to Manage!
As a master of other areas, the most important thing is to
inspect the content of the letters. But it is not for English
Saloon. The most urgent thing of this area is to attract more
persons, to let the area more glorious , so as to improve
the English level of the members as many as possible. So
I believe QQ can do it , and at least, QQ is the only guy who
have the quality to try.

"abnormal" status comes from the particurily of English ,
and secondly, just is because of lack of a master, now.

This area will get lonely somehow, but that is the
daybreak of another sunrise, and Lonliness WILL NOT STAY
FOREVER. These words hurt.
We have the examination to choose some officials of the
government, but we elect the leaders. The result of the
vote may not be the perfect, but can be accepted by
the people.That is so-called democratic.When we elect
a master, we will not let him be the KING; The style of
English area is not necessary to be same with others,
and here is more freedom to challenge the authority.
That is the balance.
And the most important thing I have to say is that I
believe QQ will have this area no lonely again.

I think this thing is free in Jingle or in all BBS.

I think so.
Maybe somebody was afraid of the duty of this position by
other reasons: the busy jobs, more homeworks, etc.

I don't think it's so serious. :)
Why do we need a master? I often ask this question to myself.
If we have not any mistakes, the master is not useful.
I like an area without the master, just like 77 area. ;D

But I feel the masters of this area, are all unstable,
